According to business development needs of SANTACC, in order to better implement the salary system design and improve the management structure, and continue to enhance the skills and technology level of front line employees, recently, led by the Human Resources Department, SANTACC organized a new form of riveter, welder skills training and assessment activities.

Skill assessment is divided into two parts, namely, training and theory & practical test. Theoretical and practical test are conducted for employees who have completed all theoretical training courses, with the Quality Management Department supervising the whole assessment. The total score consists of 20% of theory score and 80% of practical score, and those with a total score ≥70 are qualified by the department to be issued with the relevant certificates of  for  operation. Those with a total score of ≥70 are categorized as junior, intermediate and senior workers according to their scores, and the salary of different levels is adjusted accordingly. The employee who won the first place in the examination is awarded the honorary certificate of “Technical Pacesetter” with 1000 RMB by the general manager.

The training not only greatly improves the staff’s theoretical and practical ability, reduces the potential safety risks in the future, and minimizes the probability of accidents, but also helps to improve the staff grading process and management framework system, which is conducive to the development of a more scientific and reasonable salary system, speeds up the progress of the establishment of the SANTACC’s salary structure, and promotes the further improvement of the HRMS module. The HR Department will continue to promote the long-term implementation of such training activities, expand the teaching content, improve the training process, and establish a fair and scientific employee grading system.
