On December 6, 2023, the Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers held the 2023 Science and Technology Award ceremony in Shanghai. The results of floating LNG device compact and efficient micro-channel heat exchanger R&D and industrialization project jointly declared by SANTACC and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology (JUST) and other six units won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award.
In recent years, SANTACC and JUST have launched a full range of university-industry cooperation in the research of basic equipment for ships and offshore equipment, trial production of experimental equipment, and industrialization application, etc. A number of projects are listed as provincial university-industry cooperation projects, with the project leader being named provincial vice president of science and technology. SANTACC is also elected as the fifth governing unit of Jiangsu Association of the Shipbuilding Industry.
