On July 13, Zhenjiang Yangtze River Wharf was decorated with fluttering colored flags. The complete electrical desalination equipment for the ADNOC Hail & Ghasha Offshore Project (Desalting System Package For Hail & Ghasha Development Project Package 1 Offshore Facilities), undertaken by Santacc, was officially shipped to Abu Dhabi Port in the UAE. The achievement of this important milestone marks another breakthrough in the application of China's high-end petrochemical equipment in large-scale international energy projects.
The shipped complete electrical desalination equipment consists of two core parts: 2 sets of original desalination equipment (forming 1 train) and 2 sets of condensate desalination equipment (forming 1 train). The equipment is made of SA516 Gr.65N composite 8825 material, which has excellent corrosion resistance and structural stability, and can easily cope with the complex and harsh operating environment at sea. Its precise size is controlled at (3200×12000×(40+3.3) mm), which ensures processing efficiency while fully adapting to the spatial layout requirements of the offshore platform.
It is worth noting that this set of equipment strictly complies with international high-end certification standards, having obtained ASME U stamp certification and NB registration. The entire process from design, manufacturing to inspection meets internationally authoritative specifications, providing a solid guarantee for the stable operation of the equipment in overseas projects. In terms of core performance indicators, the equipment demonstrates industry-leading levels: after being processed by the original desalination equipment, the salt content of crude oil can be reduced to below 20 PTB, and the water content after desalination is less than 0.2%; after being processed by the dedicated equipment, the salt content of condensate is even as low as below 0.5 PTB, and the water content after desalination is less than 0.1%, which is far higher than the conventional treatment standards. This can provide high-quality raw materials for subsequent refining and chemical processes, significantly improving the operational efficiency of the entire industrial chain.
